As a Site Engineer, you'll oversee and manage the construction of a variety of civil, structural, and building projects. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. Your engineering expertise and leadership will be key to guiding teams, solving challenges, and delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you'll oversee and manage the construction of a variety of civil, structural, and building projects. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. Your engineering expertise and leadership will be key to guiding teams, solving challenges, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and top-quality execution.
- Provide expert engineering advice across all project phases—planning, design, and implementation.
- Manage and maintain the building assets, ensuring projects meet quality standards and align with the brand’s reputation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders including contractors, consultants, sub-contractors, and government authorities.
- Oversee project teams, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive commercial outcomes while reducing project risks.
- Ensure quality control, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
- Communicate clear project goals and priorities, keeping the team aligned.
- Manage daily costings, maintain production records, and coordinate subcontractor activities.
- Lead risk management processes and mentor teams to foster continuous improvement.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on projects over $20 million.
- Solid understanding of concrete, steel structures, excavation, and civil works.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in industry software (Excel, Word, AUTOCAD, MS Project/Primavera, Procore/Aconex).
- Knowledge of civil construction drawings, the Building Code of Australia, and WH&S regulations.
- Ability to manage deadlines, ensure quality, and lead risk assessment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Construction White Card and a valid driver’s license.
