Wilder Fox is excited to partner with a leading contractor in NSW. We’re seeking a talented Site Manager to either join an active project to help bring it to completion or to assist in launching a newly awarded project currently in the planning and procurement phases. Upcoming projects include a $70 million residential apartment building, a $35 million commercial tower, a $60 million mixed-use development, $50 million worth of build-to-rent apartments and townhouses, and a $15 million house refurbishment.
Based in Sydney, this main contractor focuses on delivering top-tier projects across a variety of sectors, handling project values from $15 million to $80 million. About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be instrumental in driving both people and processes with a methodical, technically detailed, and proactive approach. Acting as the central link between Foremen, subcontractors, Project Managers, and senior management, they are trusted to address challenges, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure a clean, safe, and fully compliant site at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of projects through construction and defect liability periods, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Manage and maintain all building assets, ensuring high standards for the brand.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders including contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.
- Oversee site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring optimal workflow and adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Execute critical quality and safety checks to meet strict performance standards.
- Coordinate site inspections and project meetings, ensuring smooth operations.
- Drive progress on-site, managing site activities and ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Monitor and manage the performance of subcontractors to ensure quality, budget adherence, and timely completion.
- Provide monthly progress reports to the Project Manager and keep all stakeholders updated on project status.
- Ensure the highest level of site safety and quality control across all projects.
- A true “builder” who can lead projects from start to finish, committed to doing whatever it takes to deliver success.
- Ideally experienced with a Tier 2 main contractor in Sydney, adept at handling all project documentation - construction, program, quality, and safety - without sacrificing site presence.
- Exceptional in time management, ensuring oversight of every project detail, with a strong, uncompromising commitment to quality and safety.
- Skilled at providing clear direction, and effectively managing teams to drive outstanding project outcomes.
- Experienced in managing diverse projects from $20M to $60M+ across multiple sectors, consistently seeing them through to successful completion.
