As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all facilities within the premium asset. You will oversee a range of areas, including maintenance, security, cleaning, vendor management, budgeting and compliance. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management plans and strategies to optimise the operation and maintenance of the asset.
- Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repairs, ensuring a high level of functionality and safety.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and monitor security measures, including access control systems, surveillance and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure a clean and well-maintained environment through effective management of cleaning and janitorial services.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage ongoing relationships.
- Develop and manage the annual facilities management budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants and respond promptly to their inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within premium commercial properties or luxury hotels.
- Solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices and relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in using facilities management software and MS Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications in facilities management or related fields are highly desirable.
