The Role
You'll take ownership of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality strategy and execution across the business. Day to day, you'll be driving compliance, embedding systems, mentoring teams, and reporting directly to the COO. From championing safety on-site, to building capability and leading audits, you'll ensure the business continues to deliver safe, sustainable, high-quality work.

Key Focus Areas
- Lead and continuously improve HSEQ systems aligned with industry standards (AS4801, ISO9001, ISO14001)
- Champion a positive safety culture across all teams and sites
- Oversee compliance, risk management, audits, and incident investigations
- Partner with leaders on bids, client submissions and project planning to support growth
- Mentor and develop the HSEQ Advisor and lift capability across the wider team
- Keep the business ahead of legislation and industry best practice
- Significant HSEQ leadership experience in the construction or interiors sector
- Strong knowledge of Australian health, safety, environment and quality legislation and systems
- A proven track record in building culture and embedding sustainable HSEQ practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at every level
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HSEQ, construction, business, or related discipline
- Senior national leadership role, reporting to the COO
- Salary package between $180k - $220k
