Wilder Fox is exclusively partnering with one of Australia's leading D&C groups for the purpose of recruiting a experienced Site Manager with a proven track record within the commercial fit out sector. The portfolio of work they deliver is specific to workplace in the CBD with projects valued up to and beyond $10 million.

- Take full responsibility for the successful execution and delivery of high-end commercial fit out and refurbishment projects within the Sydney CBD.
- Manage all on-site activities, including coordinating trades, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Oversee and enforce strict adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure workmanship and safety compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team to monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Lead and motivate site teams, providing clear direction, guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates and change orders.
- Conduct thorough snagging and defect management, ensuring timely resolution and completion of all outstanding items.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, specifically in the commercial fit out and refurbishment market, working on high-end office projects valued at $10 million and above.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- Proficient in using construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
