As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing contracts, procurement, and the financial administration of projects from inception to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and the wider team, you will ensure the successful financial management and smooth delivery of projects.

Role Overview:
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing contracts, procurement, and the financial administration of projects from inception to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and the wider team, you will ensure the successful financial management and smooth delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Contracts: Oversee the administration of contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and risks are mitigated.
- Financial Administration: Handle financial reporting, cost control, and forecasting to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Procurement: Source and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractor claims, variations, and payments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with Versatile's quality assurance and legal requirements.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and key stakeholders on the financial status and progress of projects.
- Risk Management: Identify and address any potential contractual or financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator, ideally within high-density residential and commercial projects valued over $10 million.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in industry software such as Excel, Procore, Jobpac, or Cheops.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with NSW construction laws, the Building Code of Australia, and WH&S regulations.
- Qualifications: Construction White Card and a valid driver’s license.
